Clara, a middle aged Jewish woman, feels the need to create a contrived relationship with a man of her own faith because her American brother is coming to visit her. Perfectly happy alone, she knows it will please her brother if he finds her with someone. So, she places an ad in the paper and meets Raul, who though handsome and charming, is also a Gentile. Clara decodes to give him a crash course in Judaism, and soon an unexpected relationship has been set into motion. (Cover)
